ANCIENT WISDOM

There is so much we can learn from the people of the past.  Ancient people did not live in their intellectual mind as much as we currently do today.  As our intellectual mind has developed and evolved, we tend to stay in it more and more, allowing it to control us.  There is a certain wisdom attained by being able to sit in stillness – or as the Australian Aboriginal people call, ‘Dadirri’.  A term used to describe deep listening.  This is where deep knowledge is gained.

ABOUT LISA

Lisa is a women’s health nurse, meditation facilitator, yoga instructor and has acquired a Diploma of Sound Healing through the Sound Healing Academy. She performs sound baths regularly and also one to one sessions for people going through a transition in life.   She respectfully plays instruments that are designed to assist in relaxation and restoration. During an hourlong session, participants are encouraged to lie down and settle into their bodies. The sound emanates through the space, whilst Lisa walks around and gives each participant individual attention with the different instruments she plays.
